Ellen Stohl (Mom)
STOHL -Ellen Elaine Stohl (Nee Van Allen) November 24, 1933 - November 9, 2008. Born in Lanigan SK, raised and attended school in Saskatoon and was currently residing in Sooke, BC. Predeceased by her husband Ormie William in 1991, Mother and Stepfather Berna and James Hardie, half brother Dennis, inlaws Harold and Margaret Stohl. Survived by sons Daniel (Anne Marie) and Gary (Mae); grandchildren Jaime, Lindsay, Frances, Rebecca and Kelly Bostock; her soul sister Bettymae Kennedy of Lethbridge; half sister Donelda Hardie and several nieces and nephews. Worked in finance, bankruptcy and accounting businesses in Saskatoon for 35 years and though many company mergers . Active with husband Ormie in operating coaching and managing four baseball teams. Life member of the Chief & PettyOfficers Mess of HMCS Unicorn, senior member of the Friends of Unicorn. At Ellen's request there will be no funeral.
